Attorney Steven K. Murakami
Steven Murakami has been a general practice trial lawyer for
over 12 years. Originally from the Twin Cities, he moved to the
Rochester area after graduating from law school to gain
valuable experience as a judicial clerk for the judges of
Southeastern Minnesota, known as the Third Judicial District.
Shortly after completing the judicial clerkship, Mr. Murakami
joined an established law firm. He was quickly named a partner
in the firm. Specifically, he earned the managing partner
position and became a shareholder at that time. The firm
steadily grew, adding associate attorneys, law clerks and
paralegals under Mr. Murakami's eight years of leadership.
Mr. Murakami has represented thousands and thousands of
clients. Although most clients are from the Rochester area,
many are from the Twin Cities and every other region of
Minnesota. Also, many are from other states such as Iowa,
Wisconsin, Illinois, California and Florida, to name a few.
Several clients are also internationally based. As a testament to
the quality of the representation received, many of Mr.
Murakami's clients have repeatedly hired him for their various
needs.
The dynamic needs of Mr. Murakami's clients have allowed him
to represent them at both the district court level and the
appellate court level. He has also litigated in many of the
county courthouses and visited with clients in most of the
correctional facilities throughout Minnesota.
